Cookie Policy
Effective date: 8 October 2026
A cookie is a small file that a website asks your browser to keep, and to send back on every later request to that site. It is how a site recognises a browser from one page or one visit to the next. Related technologies do the same job by other means: browser storage holds data under the site's name, pixels and scripts loaded from other servers let those servers see your request, and fingerprinting infers an identifier from the characteristics of your browser rather than storing one.
What we checked
- Cookies set by this site
- Not used. subtleplane.online sets no cookies of any kind, including functional and preference cookies.
- Cookies set by others through this site
- Not used. No advertising, analytics, social or video provider is able to set a cookie through these pages, because no such provider is present on them.
- localStorage
- Not used. Nothing is written to your browser's local storage, which is why the checklists do not remember which boxes you have ticked.
- sessionStorage
- Not used. Nothing is kept for the duration of your visit either.
- IndexedDB
- Not used. The site maintains no in-browser database.
- Tracking pixels
- Not used. There are no invisible images, beacons or conversion tags on any page.
- Browser fingerprinting
- Not used. We make no attempt to identify your browser from its configuration, fonts, canvas rendering or any similar signal.
- Web fonts and third-party scripts
- Not used. Pages are set in fonts already on your computer, and the only script is a short first-party file that opens the menu on small screens and calls your browser's print dialogue. The site requests nothing from any other server.
- Server access logs
- Used. Our hosting provider records an ordinary log entry for each request: IP address, date and time, URL requested, referring page if your browser sends one, and user-agent string. These entries are kept for 30 days and then deleted.
Why there is no cookie banner
Consent banners exist so that you can agree, or refuse, to something being stored on your device. Nothing is stored on your device here, so there is nothing to agree to. Showing a banner would imply that a choice was being made on your behalf when none exists, which would be misleading rather than reassuring.
What does happen when you read a page
Your browser requests the page, the stylesheet and the script from our hosting provider's server, and the hosting provider writes a log entry. That is the whole of it. The log entry is used to keep the site working and to deal with abuse, and it is covered in detail in our Privacy Policy.
The checklists do not remember anything
The boxes beside each checklist item are drawn with stylesheet rules. They are not controls, they cannot be ticked on screen, and no record of your reading is kept anywhere — not in localStorage, not in sessionStorage, not in IndexedDB, and not by any pixel or fingerprint. Print the page and use a pen.
After you follow an affiliate link
Some pages link to a game vendor's website, and those links are paid affiliate links. Once you follow one you are on someone else's site, and the vendor and the affiliate network that operates the link may set cookies or use similar technology on their own domains to record that the referral came from here. EnergoAlliance s.r.o. does not control those cookies, cannot switch them off for you, and does not receive them. Read those organisations' own cookie notices if you want to know what they set.
Blocking or clearing cookies generally
Although there is nothing to block here, every current browser lets you manage cookies for sites that do use them. The controls live under settings, usually in a section named for privacy, security or site data, where you can delete cookies already stored, block them for individual sites, block third-party cookies generally, or have everything cleared when the browser closes. The wording differs between browsers and changes between versions, so your browser's own help pages are the reliable guide.
If this ever changes
We have no plan to introduce cookies. If that ever changed, this page would be rewritten and published with a new effective date, and a working consent mechanism would be in place before any cookie was set — not afterwards, and not as a notice that merely announced the fact.
