subtleplane.online is published by EnergoAlliance s.r.o., Poštovská 68/3, Brno-město, 602 00 Brno, Czech Republic, company registration 28388933, VAT number CZ28388933. Reading the site means accepting these terms. If you do not accept them, please stop reading.
What the material is
The site contains one five-step course for people new to desktop PC games, together with the checklists that go with it. It is general information for a general audience, written to be read in order and worked through at your own pace.
What the material is not
It is not professional advice of any kind — not legal, financial, medical or technical advice — and it is not security advice in any formal sense. Nothing here is tailored to your circumstances, because we know nothing about them. Where a decision matters to you, seek advice from someone qualified to give it, or consult the relevant Australian authority directly.
It is also not accredited training. There is nothing to sign up for, no assessment, no certificate and no qualification. Nothing on this site creates an account, a membership or a continuing relationship, and finishing the course means only that you have read it.
Accuracy and change
The course is reviewed twice a year and corrected when we learn that something has become wrong. Even so, software requirements, sign-up processes, classification decisions and prices all change without notice. Details about any product are the vendor's to state and to change, so check the vendor's own current pages before acting on anything here.
We do not warrant that the site is complete, current or free of error, and we may change or remove any part of it at any time.
Third-party websites
The site links to other websites, including Australian government bodies and the website of a game vendor. Those sites are not under our control. We are not responsible for their content, their availability, their terms or their handling of your personal information, and a link is not a recommendation that you transact with anyone.
Some outbound links are paid affiliate links, marked as such wherever they appear and explained in full on the Affiliate Disclosure page.
Intellectual property
The text, checklists and page design are the property of EnergoAlliance s.r.o. You may print the checklists and use them for yourself, your household, a school, a library or a community group. You may quote short extracts with attribution and a link. Republishing the course wholesale, in any medium, requires our written permission.
All brand names on Subtle Plane, Crossout among them, are the property of their owners. Except for the paid affiliate links described on our funding page, none of those owners is affiliated with Subtle Plane, and none has endorsed or sponsored it.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded by agreement. Our liability is limited only to the extent the Australian Consumer Law permits it to be limited.
Subject to that, EnergoAlliance s.r.o. is not liable for loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, information published here, including decisions about which software to install, which accounts to create or how much to spend. Where a consumer guarantee applies to the supply of this material and the failure is not a major failure, our liability is limited, at our option, to supplying the material again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, where the publisher is established, and the courts of the Czech Republic have jurisdiction over disputes arising from them. That choice does not displace any protection available to you as a consumer under the Australian Consumer Law or under the mandatory law of the country in which you live.
Changes to these terms
If these terms are revised, the effective date above is updated. Continued reading after that date means the revised terms apply.
